By creating an account or otherwise using the Puffers app ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the app.
Puffers is a tool for logging inhaler doses, tracking the number of puffs remaining, and coordinating doses between members of a household. It is an organisational and reminder aid only.
Puffers does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and is not a medical device. It does not replace the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. Always follow the instructions of your physician and pharmacist. Counts, schedules and warnings shown in the app are derived from the information you and other household members enter, by hand, and may be missing, duplicated, mistimed, or simply wrong — whether from a data-entry mistake, a sync delay, a missed notification, or any other cause. Never rely solely on the app for dosing decisions.
You understand that logging doses is manual and that people forget, misclick, or enter a dose twice, and that the app may fail to remind you at all (notifications can be delayed, blocked, or silently disabled by the device's operating system). You accept full responsibility for actual dosing decisions and outcomes, including any harm resulting from a missed dose, a duplicate dose, or acting on an inaccurate count or schedule shown in the app. The developer is not responsible for monitoring your health or verifying that doses are taken correctly.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter. As a household owner, you are responsible for who you invite and approve into your household, and for the data they can then see and log.
Puffers is a paid app purchased through Google Play. Payment is handled by Google and is subject to Google's terms; refunds are governed by Google Play's policies and applicable law.
The app and its content are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer the app except as permitted by law.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any health consequences of dosing decisions, missed or duplicate doses, or reliance on inaccurate counts or schedules.
The developer may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
These terms may change as the app evolves; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
